    My guess would be that they repaired the problem they found with the Vertical, but that something else in the circuit killed the same component that they replaced again. Just letting you know that if they don't look for the root problem and just repair what they repaired before, it won't last.

    Maybe I'm missing something, but the arrow-locking type usually just needs you to use a pair of needle nose pliers to compress. You squeeze the two sides of the lock with the needle nose, and pull-up the PCB at each post, one after the other.
