    Security for Newer Vending Machines

Considering the relatively low speed at which the typical spiral rotates, there is almost certainly a reduction gearbox between the spiral and its motor drive. This means that to force the spiral to rotate you would have to overcome very high frictional torque. But as the spiral is symmetrical...

How to connect a newer Shaded Pole Motor in my oven?

Welcome to EP! The old motor has only two male terminals; so does the new one. Their physical positions on the motor do not matter. Just tape/tie the existing group of three wires (top of the picture) together and connect them to one terminal. Tape/tie the existing group of two wires (bottom of...

    Securing LED to heat sink?

Just take care not to short the + to the - with the heatsink!

Fast Switching Relay for High frequency Signals

What application requires you to switch a power amp on or off in 'a few uS' ?

Fast Switching Relay for High frequency Signals

Do you mean the change-over time of the relay contacts must be fast, or energising the coil results in almost immediate contact closure, or the relay will be activated repeatedly in a short time?

    Gcse project NEED HELP

When doing the maths for this project, bear in mind that LEDs will have a longer life if run at a current less than their rated maximum current. Reduced current will also give a longer battery life.

Boxes. Cases. I need simple coverings for my projects! What do you use?

Plastic cable trunking, available in various sizes, can be used for housing small projects.

Interfacing a NTC thermistor to a PIC

No. An analogue circuit to do that would be complex. Much easier to do linearisation in software.

    Power won’t turn on

Welcome to EP! Not many of us own a crystal ball . You'll have to provide a lot more detail. Model? Power supply voltage/current rating? Have you tried using an alternative, correctly rated power supply? What exactly happened between it working and not working? Has it been...

Sewing machine power supply/capacitor blown up

My interpretation of the PME code number is that it's a X2 type 68nF metallised paper cap, 275VAC.

    Logic mosfet pwm

You should really be driving the LED with a controlled current, not a fixed voltage. What is the rated maximum current for that LED? Can your power supply cope with that current? Is the LED mounted correctly on a BIG heat-sink?

Sewing machine power supply/capacitor blown up

The yellow label in the last pic has 'C104' on it, which could relate to a 100nF capacitor. Can you show us the whole label?
