    Not without a lot of trial and error with the latter being predominant Seems that you are trying to upgrade an existing installation without a lot of information? Did you find out the bit rate?

    If you trace the matrix it will tell you the switch from which you can look up the code, (10bit) but will not tell you the data transmission protocol.(8 bit)

    The serial output might give the key used. The output of the encoder is 10 bit but if only the first 70 keys are (no shift or ctl) considered the first 2 bits are always 00 so the possibility of discarding them and using the remaining 8 bits as one data frame arises. need to sniff the data lines...
