For Sale: Several oscilloscopes for sale for parts

Where are you? What make/models are you talking about, what faults do they have and how much are they?

Wanted: 110 volt AC Electric motor

That's a 35A motor (at 110V)! - do you have a (domestic?) supply that can actually deliver this?

    Voltage regulator or not?

The voltage INCREASES under load???? Something is wrong with your power supply!

How to calculate my battery bank Ah ,kw and Kwh

Confirm what? We have calculated your total power availability and nothing you do in terms of rewiring in series or parallel connecting is going to increase the available power. It's 7920Whr. If you discharge the batteries in only 1/2 hour you can draw double (i.e. around 16,000W) or if you...

HAM Radio Relevance Currently and Personal Reflections.

It's all relative. Even today, the internet isn't free (no one I know gets access free of charge - ok, there are public hot spots but someone, somewhere, is still paying for it). Before computers first started to gain public attention I built my own (8080-based, 256 bytes of RAM, no HDD/FDD -...

How to calculate my battery bank Ah ,kw and Kwh

No necessarily - depends on what you are using as a reference, hours, minutes, days....... the total wattage is still the product of volts x amps - it doesn't include 'time' unless you reference it specifically.

HAM Radio Relevance Currently and Personal Reflections.

Not at all. It's just that for maximum range the human ear can discern morse code through all sorts of 'crap' that other modulation methods fail to do. With the sole intent of getting maximum range for your 'buck' (and at 5 watts you're really at the bottom end of things) much effort is spent...

HAM Radio Relevance Currently and Personal Reflections.

The good old days eh? :) Many people cut their teeth on ham radio and in many cases did so prior to going 'professional' in whatever aspect of life that interested them. My ham experience led me into the merchant marine (as a radio officer) and then on to teaching then a globe travelling Mr...

How to calculate my battery bank Ah ,kw and Kwh

Yes, it does. But, as stated above, your's has no 'parallel' aspect to them. Total 'power' is the product of their voltage and current and quantity - no matter how you connect them you will never get any more than 2 (volts) x 165 (Ahr) x 24 (qty) = 7920W Series (to a maximum of 48V but only...

HAM Radio Relevance Currently and Personal Reflections.

No it isn't. It may not be as prevalent as it once was but there are still a large number of people using ham radio and still building their own sets. Ham radio isn't just 'talking to people across the globe' as it incorporates many different aspects of communication from simple AM, CW and SSB...

How to calculate my battery bank Ah ,kw and Kwh

Ahr's add in parallel, voltage adds in series, watts = volts x amps. Wattage remains the same no matter how you connect them (series or parallel). Watt/hours is a simple measure of the total wattage available over a given time period (in this case one hour) In your case you have (in series)...

Building a manually-controlled touch screen tapper for controlling farm tractor GPS

It could well operate on the piezo principle, using sound waves to create an acoustic 'tap'. There are videos of levitation devices using piezo sounders so the 'physical' aspect is certainly applicable.

Building a manually-controlled touch screen tapper for controlling farm tractor GPS

A pair of simple solenoids with touchpen pads (the soft rubber stuff you get on pen pointers for screens) on lever arms would work. Two pushbuttons each generating a short pulse (556 dual monostable circuit) to 'kick' the lever arm onto the screen might simulate the necessary touch effect. The...

Any signs of sphincter enlargement? i.e. can you get a fist in there without touching the sides? If not I suggest you got away lucky...... or not - depends on your leaning......

Building a manually-controlled touch screen tapper for controlling farm tractor GPS

Which is why I suggested you use a trackerball........ Trackerballs are used in all sorts of applications where a mouse cannot 'roam' - even the military use them. Amazon has a gazillion examples....

what kind of switch do I need

What is the active device (regulator) that you are using? You must check that the output voltage doesn't go 'high' if the feedback (potentiometer wiper) is disconnected as most switches are break-before-make and you get a momentary disconnect as the poles swap.

Building a manually-controlled touch screen tapper for controlling farm tractor GPS

If the device has a USB port anywhere try putting a mouse into it - this usually brings up a screen cursor. If this is the case then you can also get a trackerball that could be mounted somewhere convenient that would work even better.
