Hello,
Perhaps you could better ask it on a Mercedes automotive forum:

Hello,
The large blobls are for holding the part.
You are right about one of them being connected to a track.
It is for shielding, as the holder is made of metal that can be seen as a shield for noise.
Bertus
Hello,
As I said, the schematic came from the AP200.
I assume a similar part is used in your system.
As you can see in the schematic, the ground connections are common for left and right.
The VR601 is only a location on the PCB.
Bertus
Hello,
Does the keyboard also have an other number?
The celvanio is not found on this page:

There seem to be a lot of models:

In the AP200 manual, I see it is a stereo potmeter with a common gound:

Hello,
As the used relay is a latching relays. a short pulse would be enough to activate.
The coil takes about 150 mA at 5 Volts, so it will dissipate 0.75 Watt.
Bertus
Hello,
You are measuring in series with the load.
In the 10 Amp range the resistance of the current sensing resistor is much lower as the 200 mA range.
It sounds there is something wrong in the 200 mA range.
It could be the sensing resistor or a switch issue.
Bertus
Hello,
I see the meter has only three ampere settings:
In the 200 μA range, it will be out of range.
In the 200 mA range, it should show 21.1 mA.
In the 10 Amp range, it will show 0.
Bertus
Hello,
The make or brand is UNI-T.
Wich version is it, as the flash covers the version?
It looks like a UT131B:

Can you confirm?
Bertus
Hello,
You could place 5 magnets in the disk (with the 5 holes) and a hall sensor to detect the position.
The hall sensor signal could be used to control the "hold" signal.
Bertus
Hello,
Changed the title.
Why do you want to use the programmer?
There are pickit programmres special for the pics.
