    :)im looking fo a good simple parabolic microphone circuit , that will hear distant sounds really clear,with the microphone mounted in a dish . i want the type of circuit , that use a pair of headphones to listen with, i prefer the circuit, not be a transmitter type that tranmitts to an fm radio,

    :) actually i wonder if a relay unit out of a car would do ok , or even a truck, and maybe if you allso need a regulator i wonder if you can use the one from a car alternator

    :)dazza measure the ac output with your multimeter in the ac range , as for measureing dc amps i do it through a 0.1ohms resister . but im not sure if you can do it the same way for ac useing a 0.1ohms resister but if you could do it id use a 0.1ohms 5 watts

    dazza zener diodes havr a similiar symbol your ones are stud mount, there the same types as listed in my book ,that are 10 amps but the ones you have i cant be sure on the corect current rateings
