    The test feature is just how you wire the contacts. The part number CR104PBL11L3L2 indicates a full voltage 120v Led lamp. I think originally it had incandescent lamps. Neon lamps don't need much current to start glowing, similar to Leds.

    Whats the specs on the led push button? So your control circuit is supplied with 120v? Is there a small transformer integrated into the pushbutton to drop the 120v to a smaller voltage for the lamp? What type internal lamp?

    Your probably right about fusing either side because non polarized plug. Course it could be wired a number of ways. The 3rd wire could also be for feed thru power to the receptacle on the opposite end.

    Could be. But Christmas lights often have 3 wires which likely means they are wired series and parallel. In other words 30 or so lamps in series and another string paralleled to that, totaling 60. Heck, Pull one of the fuses out and see what happens.

    Yep, That's why they stipulate "liquid" or "fluid". So just saying pint by itself means area. If I have 2 pint containers, one filled with molasses and the other with cotton candy, they are going to weigh quite differently.

    The saying should ring true then. A (liquid US) pints a pound(US), and a (liquid imperial) pints a pound (imperial).
