    Hello, You could try IC1 on the spot of IC2 and see if some sound comes out. When no IC1 is plugged in, there should be a constant tone present. Bertus

    Hello, Try to bridge the tone posts for a moment and see if a tone is being produced: Just connect R5 direct to pin 7 of IC2 as in the drawing. This is to exclude the posts from the schematic. Bertus
