    Low voltage disconect circuit

Hello Leot, welcome to EP Your circuit needs a base resistor. Try a 1K to start with and see if the relay still works. This will be the reason that the feedback isn't working also. Thanks Adam

cheap & simpe Arduino projects ???

My first Arduino project was flashing an LED. Now I have two flashing. I am hoping to go for a third. Then I think I might see if I can write my own graphics LCD routines. Adam

    Current Limiter Circuit

Hi Hop The OP said he wanted 1 Amp at 20 Volts. I was merely saying that the voltage will drop if he tries to draw more current than this. I guess he knows that. In a bench power supply where you can adjust the output voltage then current limit and regulation could be considered the same thing...

cheap & simpe Arduino projects ???

Turning an LED on?..... Give us a bit more of a clue, there are 100s of simple project. You must have an interest in something?

    Current Limiter Circuit

Ok so you know that the voltage on the output of the regulator will be 1 Amp * RL. It's just you said you needed 20 Volts at 1 Amp. That means your load can't be lower that 20 Ohms. Does this still apply. Do you have your circuit diagram you have been working on? Cheers Adam

Code execution in ISR too slow.

Yes correct, but is it running at full speed internally. If you do a test with a pin setting it high and then low what timings do you get? This will give you an indication of the clock it's using.

Code execution in ISR too slow.

Looking at the circuit for the dev board you are using one of the micros has a 20Mhz clock, this should easily achieve less than 1 microsecond instruction cycle. See if there is a pre-scalar you can change.

Code execution in ISR too slow.

Can you stretch the timings of the incoming signal and then scale it back in software? Adam

    Regarding the IC

How much current do you require? What's the circuit for, can you use a switching regulator? Thanks Adam

Hello Can you run the micro at a higher frequency. What frequency are you currently using? Adam

    Circuit Analysis Help

H Chris, yeah sorry I misread your post, of course you wouldn't know the current in the 2R. I would have to dig out my books to help you work it out properly, it's been a long time. I do my own thing for problems like this, I guess it could be a combination of loop and node, I don't get too hung...

    Circuit Analysis Help

Hi Chris. So you know the value of current through the 2R. What voltage does this develop across the resistor? I bet it's less than 9 Volts. To make sure the voltage across the 9 Volt source is 9 Volts what do you think has to happen to the other side of the voltage source? Adam

    SurgeProtector Strange behaviour

You need to tell us about your device, I have tested many surge suppressors to lightning levels. You need to be a bit more open about your product. Adam
