    Average Speed = Total Distance / Time If you are trying to measure falling objects you will find they all fall at the same rate. Are you trying to measure the speed of an object which travels along a surface?

    Thanks guys! Great to know.. I came across a nice Weller iron once which was pretty neat. It used tips with three different temperatures. WTCP51 I think. I'm going to buy some tips for the WLC100 clone i brought..

    Perhaps the resistance of the buzzer is effecting the voltage divider. Try and find the resistance of the buzzer, then work out R2 and the 'R3' in parallel. You can work out the resistance of a buzzer, for example a 9V buzzer pulling 10mA: 9/10mA =900Ω

    Problems Programming PICKIT 2 Clone

    Hi Guys, It works! :rolleyes: I created a temporary 72Ohm resistor by using a 120Ohm and 180Ohm resistor in parallel. Seems to work now, so i guess I'll order a 75Ohm resistor.
