    Why don't you just balance the bridge by replacing one of the load cells with a variable resistor? The amplifier can run from 3.6 Volts why are you using 5 Volts? Adam

    I am thinking also R1 will prevent the Vpp line from the programmer drawing excess current. MCLR lines don't have the ESD protection diodes that other ports have because if using the Vpp line for ICP the programmer would be shorted out by this diode, which would only allow a Vpp voltage of VDD...

    Tricky one this is so I had a go and simulated it and counted the pulses. Your output x appears to change state every 24 clock pulses and the other output goes low after 8 and high after 16. This adds up to 24, which make sense. Don't know if this helps. Adam
