    op-amp

I'm agreeing with duke37. But this sounds like a homework question. I'm guessing the question is in reference to some particular new device, that has specific parameters. Any particulars, on what your 'high impedance source', IS?

    Sprague TD-100 & TD-101 Data Sheets?

Thanks *steve*, printed-it with no problems. I'm thinking maybe my computer settings for the site I was checking might have some issue that I can't figure out. (Only time I ever had a problem like this). I'm set now, and appreciate the help.

    Ic/ It's equivalent

I'm in the US, don't know what's available where you are. Obsolete IC, made by National Semiconductor, but still available online for about $7 US. LM4701T is listed as a 'Dual Headphone Audio Amplifier' Are you sure you don't have a different problem with your woofer?

    Sprague TD-100 & TD-101 Data Sheets?

Anybody know a place on-line where I can get a data sheet for these two dual transistors? When I google free data sheets, I get a dozen sites that all route me to one site. The pdf file comes-up a couple inches wide and unreadable, and I can't figure-out how to get a full-sized copy of them...

    Fairchild Diodes

Update from shrtrnd: Still trying to track this down, but stumbled on interesting information for people like me, who spend too much time trying to track down proprietary part numbers. Philips Semiconductor Small Signal Transistor and Diodes MARKING CODES...

    What are these?

When exposed to excessive heat, the paint on the bands can burn, and appear to change color. They look like old style resistors, and the value of 100 ohms makes sense (brown, black, brown, silver + 10% tolerance). I want to say however, that in the 1960's thru 80's, I've found some...

    old monitor help

I am trying to figure-out what what exactly you need? You've got the manufacturer, model number and serial number. If you're just needing schematics, google them, if you're just trying to convert it for some other use.

    I need your help?

Check catalogs of what most other companies stock, (the same devices at every company). Everybody stocks individual specialty circuits of their own desire, .... But everybody also stocks common types of devices that everyone buys. I'd look at everybody else's stock, ... and start-out with the...

Need Help - 3 second delay circuit

I don't see how you'll trip a 12V relay at 5v. There are a lot of 5v relays available for computer applications. I'd find one of those.

    Auto Morse Code Responder

I don't know what they have these days. But you used to be able to find kids walkie-talkies that HAD the morse key on them. May not be a market anymore, cause everybody uses cell phones or whatever now. There are a lot of short-range walkie-talkies out there, (or used to be, maybe not so many...

    NC CONTACTS

For an exact answer, we need to know the manufacturer & part number of your relay board. If you don't know: N/C is normally closed contacts (N/O normally open). You buy the relay for the type of circuit you want. Most relays have both normally closed and normally open contacts on the...

    tektronix 2467b oscilloscope fail codes

Don't have the answer, but might be able to point you in the right direction. I've got the 2467B Maint/Service manual in front of me. But as usual, it's not detailed enough for me to pin-point your error code. (Page 6-12 in manual, if you find one) Test 5 is a test of the Main Board. The...

    Replace GE Switch

And like davenn said, make sure the tab on the door that engages the switches, is not chipped, warped, or broken, ...and will engage the switch actuator.

    Burroughs Proprietary Part Numbers

They had some smart guys working there, was sorry to see them merge with another company, but I guess they gotta do that these days, or they get pulverized by foreign companies. Got most of my early test and measurement gear from my uncle. Once a year the company would take all the old gear...

    Burroughs Proprietary Part Numbers

Thanks Bladesmith. My uncle used to work for Burroughs, and I have a fair quantity of about 100 of their devices. But was only able to cross about half of them. Got the list from the site you sent, hope to identify many more from the new list. thanks again

Why do Sony TVs shut down for no reason

I would imagine some component is over-heating, and the circuitry is trying to protect itself. Only other thing I've seen like that, is a push-button sticking on the TV itself, or the remote. (Unless you're using another remote for something else, and it's triggering the power/off on the Sony).

    Lead free solder

The lead free solder flows at higher temperature than lead. So you have to be careful the heat you put on the components you're soldering. The original reason for lead in solder, was to prevent conductive 'whiskers', which grow from the structure of tin. This can be important in very low...
