    Current measurement circuit

I thought I was using the terms you were using The output of your voltage follower is obviously there to be used by something. What happens if that something has a low impedance. Would the effect be different if the voltage follower was not there, and that low impedance was connected to the...

    Current measurement circuit

What would happen if the output circuit had a low input impedance? Consider the case with and without the voltage follower.

    Current measurement circuit

Ok, that's the first part. Why could that be useful?

    Current measurement circuit

What are the characteristics of a voltage follower? Why might some of those characteristics be useful?

    Microcontroller replaceable?

Good job finding the poor solder joint and broken trace. The driver ICs should have the same pinout and can be swapped. Just make sure you order the right part :-)

1W audio power amplifier driven by electret ?

I've not looked at the modules you've linked to, but presumably there is some specification of the input level. And presumably you know the signal level you'll get out of the mic. What's the problem with finding an op amp (or even a discrete circuit) that can run from this voltage to supply...

To build step counter app using using android studio

Your question is a bit like "Can you tell me how to change a tire on a vehicle made by Toyota?". The question appears to make some sort of sense, but lacks enough detail to be almost impossible to answer. In your case, the important details might include: How you will detect the steps How you...

    Hour meter for laser cutter

Yeah, we had a flashover of the high voltage to wiring to the Z motor (which for some reason was placed in close proximity to each other. Fortunately the damage was limited to the Z controller. After rerouting the wiring to the Z motor and replacing the cable to the anode of the tube, we hope...

    What do I need?

My problem with cheap USB scopes is that I can't be sure about isolation, so I'm putting my laptop at risk. Although I can run the laptop from batteries... I have seen some really nice expensive USB scopes, but as mentioned, for the price you may as well buy a real scope. I have my little...

    Microcontroller replaceable?

In theory, with a Darlington you will also have a fairly large base resistor which will help protect the microcontroller, and the path to ground through the two base emitter junctions should limit the voltage at the base anyway.

    Microcontroller replaceable?

The other parts should be easily obtainable, look on digikey or similar. The microcontroller would be a real pita to replace without the right equipment.

    Microcontroller replaceable?

Simple answer, the microcontroller is almost certainly replaceable. But the bad news, if it doesn't have the firmware loaded, it won't do anything.

    Help finding a display

A 8 character x 1 line LCD display will be way smaller than that and is pretty easily interfaced. Look on eBay for the styles that are available. Edit: it looks like the smallest on eBay note is 16 characters by 2 lines. Edit 2: there are also plenty of small tft and oled displays for a fiver...

    Help finding a display

What sort of display do you need. I assume it's somewhere between a single LED and a video wall. At present we have no idea what you want to display. Is a 2 line by 20 character LCD display ok?

    Bitwise AND assignment

No it doesn't. That's the assignment and an operation to be performed at the same time. It doesn't equal anything. In algebra if I say x = 1 + 2, then I can say x = 3, but this is not algebra, this is an assignment. You haven't done the bit shift. Look for some examples of the >>...

Subaru dash clock problems - pictures...

The metallic ends of the resistors each need to be soldered to one of the pads on the board. If you post a picture of the part of the board without the resistor, and then another with the resistor sitting in place, we can confirm you have the correct orientation. One side of the resistor has...
