I take it you are holding the 'remote' device to activate the phone ringer system yourself?
I take it that the 'constant ring' is NOT correct and that a normal ring is required at all times?
What form does the interference take? Buzz? Hum? Hiss? etc?
Unfortunately the pictures aren't, as...
I'm often tempted to stock up for the eventual occasion when even leaded solder is made 'illegal' for amateur use..... it can't be too far off although how they'd police it is anyones guess.
would seem to be quite apt......
@ChosunOne - I always seem to forget that the forum is 'global' and that details such as you mentioned quite appropriately are sometimes misssed. Well put. :)
Most EPROMs are programmed and erased using the program voltage pin (/MCLR/Vpp) these days. Windowed EPROMs are still available but hardly ever used.
Erasing would simply be writing all 1's or 0's to the relevant memory locations.
If you have any issues at all it will relate to the CR time constants of the integrators in the input and 'feedback' circuits.
You should put a 'debounce' circuit on the input with an integral period shorter than the CR constant of the 'feedback' cirucit.
Yes, 'consideration' as in recognising where the limitations of the veroboard copper strips may lie in respect to the potentially high currents, voltages and, in some circumstances, high frequencies your circuitry may consist of.
It would depend on the situation and the orientation of the sensor. It doesn't 'not work' if installed upside down - as other posts show, the detection pattern is still capable of covering an area - however inadequately - regardless of its orientation so making a specific statement that...
There are also three-terminal signal conditioning components often used on I/O line - they look like little 'blobs' and comprise a simple LC filter.
Darn.... can't find a quick link to one.... typical
I considered reworking the schematic myself but lost the will to live.
@Electric-T see how much difference it makes? Can you see how much easier it is to understand? I hope you can take this onboard - it will make you a much better experimenter if you can understand your own notes! :D
One notable exception is 'individual/amateur' use. Its 'mandatory' use is aimed at industry. Can't say I've noticed anything different about the world/health due to its introduction - probably on the basis of some eco-tard's demands based on some dubious research etc.
I'd like to know the...
Always amazes me how such a simple setup can be made to appear so utterly indecipherable when the schematic is drawn.....
Schematics should be readable almost at a glance - you have to STUDY yours to even make head or tails of it :p
Ever heard of 'circuit convention'?
Draw it out again with...
It's just a different way to make the designation - it could say 'anything' but as long as the data sheet gives you details of the signal it expects to see you will be able to interface to it.
