Looking for a data sheet on this transistor ? from a ultrasonic cleaner powersupply

Some ultrasonic cleaners use the now obsolete SJ9089A. It's alternative appears to be an MJ16018. If that's of any help. Adam

    ultrasonic leak detector

I wonder if the Ultra sound is coded in anyway. Jangle a set of keys quickly near the receiver and see if anything happens. If it picks up anything then it might suggest the transmitter is faulty, if it doesn't then it could be either. You might have to see if you can get hold of an Oscilloscope...

It's only polite I introduce myself!

I'll tell you Once I get my Nano working. The installation of the USB drivers are a nightmare, I have logged a tech support question but have not heard anything yet. Tried allsorts but just can't load the sketch. Adam

    Adjust the range of Transmitter

Oh I thought you wanted also wanted to increase the range sorry it's just what most people want to do. You can easily reduce the range by adding an attenuator on the output. Fit your PCB into a simple metal enclosure with a BNC connector on the outside so you can add your own different size...

    Linearity problem on XTR116

You need to use a resistor to convert PWM into an average D.C voltage. I asked this in question 2 of my first post. Adam

    Mosfet bridge safety

In most standard MOSFETS the body diode is a poor one. It was not intentional to have this diode but happens to be there as an intrinsic component. They tend to be slow and have a long reverse recovery time. However there are new fast recovery MOSFETS available which have better diode...

    Linearity problem on XTR116

A couple of observations first. 1) Your reset switch doesn't have any delay circuitry, or do you have power on reset enabled. Follow the datasheet for recommended reset circuitry if needed. 2) You are driving a 10uF cap out of the PWM port pin, shouldn't you have a resistor to give you the...

    Adjust the range of Transmitter

Hello There is no attachment. Increasing the range of the transmitter would normally involve either increasing the power of the transmitter of the sensitivity of the receiver. Increasing the transmitted power might cause you to be transmitting illegally, dependant on what the laws in your...

    require help in wave theory

As Steve mentioned a wave does not have any charge. The wave produces a force which acts upon other charged particles, the force can be repulsive or attractive. In metal conductors like what are used to connect circuits together the electric field is negative because the protons are bounded in...

    Strange problem help needed!

Yes and Yes. The IR Rx circuitry will probably have a high gain amplifier of some kind which could pickup external noise. I don't know why the gun doesn't fire, maybe it does but it's just too fast for you to see and then it detects what it thinks is the return beam straight away. Or if it's...

Help making pcb for this camera

I don't think the camera would handle the head associated with reflow, it might melt the plastic. So you could, but it's not ideal get some Sil strips 1mm pitch and solder them to the pads, put a nice bit of solder around the pins, it will be fragile so be careful. You could then make a PCB for...
