That's a more reasonable figure. I'm not certain that there is a single fixed figure though.

oscilloscope view mode or something question

The pot for vertical position on channel 1 sounds dodgy. If you can spray some isopropyl alcohol into it and sweep the control up and down several times, you may be able to improve it. If this doesn't completely fix it, then replacing the pot may be your next step. There are apparently groups...

    4020 divided outputs

Are you measuring from the start of timing to the rising edge of the output? And then measuring from the first rising edge to the second? If so, your second and subsequent times will be twice the first. In addition, you don't have a circuit to reset the 4020 at power on. It is possible it is...

At that rate you wouldn't even get decent audio, so no.

    smart home innovations

We can help you but we're not here to design something for you to commercialize. This is especially true when there are already commercial devices in this space you can go out and purchase. If you have your own technicians, why not use them?

    smart home innovations

How much of the design work have you done already? What is your experience with electronics? Are you trying to design a commercial device or something for your personal use?

    Logic Circuit help

Post the details here or I will close the thread. We aim to answer questions both for you and for anyone who comes along later with a similar problem. If you can't play your part you may find that we won't spend a lot of effort helping you.

    Shift Register circuit validity

This is true if you want to maintain a valid logic level on the output. However the outputs are capable of about 10mA if this constraint does not need to be satisfied. The max dissipation per output is 100mW and for the package is 500mW. This would allow you to short 10 outputs to ground with...

Good Resource For Learning Bjt Transistors And Amplifier

Can you be more specific? Whilst I found stuff that I know you disagree with, I didn't see anything which differs from reality. But maybe I missed it, I don't have time to fact-check the entire video.

5v from 12v is this viable?

No, it would be on the other side of the capacitor from R2. But as Audioguru has already pointed out, the LM386 has this resistor internally, so it's not needed (I missed it when I read the datasheet).

5v from 12v is this viable?

There is more magic here than you understand at present. To put it simply, low value capacitors have a better high frequency response and thus paralleling a smaller capacitor will help remove high frequency noise.

    Help building LED power supply

To measure voltage, simply set your meter to a voltage range (it may autorange, or you might have to set it to (say) 20V. typically the black meter lead goes into the common connection and never moves. The red lead will connect to the point often labelled as V/Ω, or V/Ω/mA. Place one lead on...

    Scrolling Led power source

Open it up and take a picture of the innards, especially of stuff near the power socket. It may yield some clues.

Step down a LiPo battery voltage

OK, your main problem is that the battery voltage will vary with charge level. It will vary from some multiple of (maybe) 3V (discharged) to some multiple of 4.2V (charged). When you say 25.2V fully charged, this probably means it has 6 cells in series. This will give you 25.2V when fully...

5v from 12v is this viable?

C7, yes. Now you have a bridge connection of LM386's so they're going to dissipate more power. In addition they are not protected from noise on your car 12V system and probably won't last too long. They may also pick up noise from the engine. edit: also, not having a DC path to the inputs...

    Help building LED power supply

It's likely that those strings of LEDs are in parallel. This is a really bad way to connect LEDs, but is not uncommon in battery powered LED christmas lights. It also relies to some extent on the internal impedance of the batteries to limit current. Connecting a large number of these in...

Limited Lifetime warranty on memory cards?

Well, you can always try the retailer. If you have no luck you could then try the manufacturer. I have no idea where you live (for all I know it could be Lithuania) so telling you what is likely to happen where I live is not going to help. Best of luck.

Limited Lifetime warranty on memory cards?

2 year warranty is better than a lifetime warranty. With the latter they can just say it's past its lifetime (It's worse than that, it's dead Jim). Is adata the manufacturer? If so, you could try them. The seller (especially if it was an auction on ebay) will be way past caring, and probably...

converting 2.4 gig wifi to baseband signal.

Frankly, anyone who mentions their supposed IQ just looks like an idiot. And your age is pretty much irrelevant other than pegging you well below the average age of the participants of this forum that I have met (i.e. you could be my son, and possibly the grandson of at least one other person...
