    0-30 Vdc Stabilized Power Supply

Hey MP Audioguru is right here, the PSU in its original form is a nono, it have problems when loaded down to 3 Amps, at both low and high voltages! I and Mixos where discussing it, when my computer brooke down and i didn't have money to reair it! Mixos where testing it, when that happend. And...

    Can I use a 220 ohm resistor with LM317?

Hi You can use any type of nonpolar cap here, and the value, i belive, can be somewere between 0.1 to 0.4 uF, but there seems to br some error in the schematic, there is no base return resistor to the 2N2222 transistor, a 100 Kohm resistor connected between base and emitter will be fine here...

    Who invented the transistor, really?

No, they only re-invented it! Transistors where used in the 1920:ies already! And there is a patent for fets from late 1920:ies or early 1930:ies! And they talk about them in a book i have! The book is written 1930! //Staigen

Why dont you use Tudor batterys instead, then everything would have been much simpler? You woulden't need any ground connection, and could refer to any of the three terminals! Tudor, the battery with nine lifes! [move] ;D ;D ;D
