No, they only re-invented it!
Transistors where used in the 1920:ies already!
And there is a patent for fets from late 1920:ies or early 1930:ies!
And they talk about them in a book i have! The book is written 1930!

You are perhaps thinking of Mervin Kelly?
As far as I know he was theorizing about the “semiconductor” in the 1930:s but there where no practical working model until Shockley,  Brattain and Bardeen built it…….. or was there?
Do you suggest that the Nobel prize was given to the wrong people?

offcourse russian invented it, but every time they do not patent it.. and some european sow this and made his own patent...

:)like the led the transistor was rumoured  to be the results of reverse engineering  from a crashed ufo in 1947 and all those years they spent in reverse engineering  what they found in the crashed alien craft , the transistor was said to orinate from that
