    testing capacitors

In electronics terms these are not "small" capacitors. We normally think 100p is small. Provide the meter catalogue number and the range you are testing the capacitor on.

Use diode to attach multiple circuits

"I concur with this. You've got a large web site Colin. A link to the exact page would be most useful." I posted a link in the other 3 forums and they banned me for life. Jealousy is a curse.

Use diode to attach multiple circuits

I have covered all the faults with this type of circuit here: http://www.talkingelectronics.com/projects/Spy%20Circuits/SpyCircuits-1.html

    Random PICAXE Output for 4026

If you are required to pick every number out of 40, as you are with LUCKY NUMBER ENVELOPES, you need a random list to pick from and keep track of the numbers picked. You haven't stated your requirements.

    Random PICAXE Output for 4026

For the gaming machines we produce, every number must be produced out of a sequence, so 3 sequences are produced and the numbers are picked randomly and crossed off the list. It depends on how often you want the numbers to balance.

Use diode to attach multiple circuits

That Jammer puts out a carrier and does no more to "Jam" than your transmitter. The transmitter circuit has all the wrong values and you can see the faults listed on Talking Electronics website.

    Random PICAXE Output for 4026

To get a random number, produce a 36 table of numbers in random order and reproduce it 3 times and pick down the table, starting at a random point. This is the sort of thing if you want a random LOTTO number selector.

pressure sensor to detect vacuum breach - where to buy?

This module is just $2.00 posted. You will need a microcontroller driver http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMP180-Replace-BMP085-Digital-Barometric-Pressure-Sensor-Board-Module-Arduino-WC-/221485468940?ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:AU:1120

Need help building a basic digital counting circuit.

"Maveric, don't worry about Colin." What are you talking abut??? He asked for a kit: "Any help would be great even if it is a link to an existing product or kit." A count-down timer is exactly what he needs. I have been selling these things for 20 years for exactly this purpose.

Need help building a basic digital counting circuit.

"The reed switch will operate fine." A reed sw will be quite useless. You need a count down timer with preset . . . someting like this: MXA069 DIGITAL UP-DOWN COUNTER 4 DIGIT by StarElectronics Be the first to review this item...

florescent starter circuit collapsing power supply?

The output from the flyback needs to be separated into 4 . . . so each tube starts separately. You may be able to do with with 4 x 10n caps One of the tubes is zenering the supply.

    Adding voltage to a circuit?

The voltage you are adding must not have the negative lead connected to the negative of the other voltage. It must be a separately derived voltage (supply). Now you can add the new voltage (supply) by putting the negative of the new voltage (supply) on the positive rail of the old voltage and...
