It will help if you told us what the source is that will drive the relay coil. Chris

    Sketchup 3D CAD

Thanks GG, I'll look for something like that. What I have found in the help files is this.. If you have multiple fittings on the sketch they tell you to select one of them before inserting the mating pipe. That works with a caveat. I've been unable to ascertain what to do with a fitting with...

    Sketchup 3D CAD

Thanks Harald. That guy appears to be experienced using it but I don't think his site is devoted to Sketchup help. I downloaded it 3 days ago after years of reading about it. I don't know why I waited so long. It's awesome! I also downloaded the Engineering plugin that utilizes...

No argument there. I would have liked the manufacturer to spec it though. ;) chris

Glad to hear it. Apparently the 60Hz xfmr is working fine on your 50Hz mains. Any signs of it getting hot? Chris

Will MS Ever Get Things Right?

I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. I'm talking about a computer OS nothing else. The issue that prompted this topic is not compatibility with third party software or mobile devices. Remote Desktop belongs to Microsoft. Who makes the PC is not the issue either. ......And DUH, I...

Will MS Ever Get Things Right?

There's no "we". There's only "I". I don't need any of the stuff you mentioned except the laptop. I have no desire to run my CADs, Spice, Photo Editors, pic programmer, VB or anything I may have missed,.. on an I-pad, I-phone or any other mobile device. Chris

    Report a line of sensors

Chris, thanks for posting the requested information. I think we're going to enjoy the progression of this project, as it's not our typical (run of the mill) that we see repeatedly. Here's some random thoughts (Analog To Digital): (1) LDR's, whether wired in a series string or in parallel...

    Report a line of sensors

That theory works for your last paragraph but this goes a bit beyond that. I'm talking about your entire post. Every sentence, question, statement .... All of it verbatim! It's like a Vulcan Mind Meld mate! :p Chris

    Power Supply LED Display

You've lost me. If that's all you need to do then you could do that with the single DPM you have. Are you sure your meter won't read -V & -I? Did you get a data sheet with it that you could post? Chris

    Power Supply LED Display

The eBay link you posted provided next to nada in the way of tech data. If it only reads +V & +I how are two of the same model going to rectify this issue? Does the seller have a -V & -I model? Chris

My buddy sent me this. Just curious.. Are precautions like this common for these beasts? It reads like handling RA Isotopes!

    Power Supply LED Display

As I see it you don't need a Bipolarity power supply. Instead of reversing the power supply polarity I would simply reverse the polarity of the load. Chris
