    Panel display for 10K pot

Arduino and a small program can track a pot position and return a number that represents the voltage level on the wiper (0 to 1023) This could then be used as a reference to drive an LCD. Voltage on the pot is limited to 5v dc though. If you require different numbers you can "map" it to suit...

Charging coin cell battery and feeding the board circuit at the same time

I was thinking along the lines that other manufactured packs have i.e. encased monitoring with feedback to the charger or cut-out in event of over-temp or over-charge.

Charging coin cell battery and feeding the board circuit at the same time

Only issue I can see is that the Lithium Iron cell has no protection and given they have a history of bursting into flames for no apparent reason, I'd be thinking about that.

Replacing power supply for halogen bulb

When installing dichoric lamps (similar to halogen) in hospitals where Clipsal Cbus was present, we would use a type of inrush filter per x amount of lamps. Extended their running life ten fold. Cannot find a link to them at present though. They were housed in a standard Clipsal electrical J-box...

    Crazy situation with reconditioning batteries

In my experience, digital multimeters (especially cheaper versions) can give unexplained readings. Must remember they have thousands of ohms input impedence. Try loading with a 10k resistor or similar(my bet is the reading will go to zero) Or use an analogue meter (same..zero) Could be...

    Mains filter/conditioner schematic.

You might try running your systems off a UPS that gives isolation. Could be a rather large unit though. You will need to find what the power requirement of your system is under max conditions.

    Servo motor acting strange?

Servos do not take kindly to the supply being reversed. I would say that in reversing the brown orange and red that you have blown the main board somewhere. One other query, why is there a green wire on a terminal marked "red"..and black and white transposed??
