    Double posting, since I couldn't edit, I went ahead and opened the handset, that goes connected to the "new" unit (white plug) ends in an RJ11 jack, and goes to this handset. I think this is the missing link hahaha. As an aditional note, old handset, looks exactly like this in the inside.
