Hello everyone,

I recently salvaged this interesting-looking chip from an old Tektronix device (model seems to be from the 80s or early 90s). The chip is labeled:

TRW 10024KC6
TDS5180
8143N
Made in Hong Kong

It appears to have gold-plated pins and possibly gold bonding inside, and I'm wondering if this component has any collector's value, or if it is considered valuable for its gold content or rarity.

Does anyone here know more about it? Is this something worth keeping or even selling?
Any info on what this chip does or how much it could be worth is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

That is a monolithic video converter chip.
Maybe worth the gold content if you had a thousand of them.
Probably worth £30 to someone who needs it.
