12v car to 5v dc 2.5a needed

Hi, can anyone help with a schematic for a car 12v to 5vdc 2.5A so i can use my mp3 player in the car instrad of buying expensive batteries all the time...

ive found this one LM2576 to be a match too and alot cheaper, its jsut the variations of it,
this is where i can get components from in australia, /www.rsaustralia.com What is the suitable one i need from there?
