I don't want to pay Silicon Chip magazine to read their article.
Instead, I found a kit of the amp and it produces 200W into 8 ohms or 350W into 4 ohms.

One of the kits supplied subtitute transistors that had a different pin-out and wouldn't fit on the pcb.

I found out what a ESP file is.
For those who don't know what it is, its a picture file that needs to be opened with Abode Illistrator or Coral Draw.

And what V/A should the transformer be?

350W into 4 ohms is a peak current of 13.3A. 200W into 8 ohms is a peak current of 7.1A.

And what V/A should the transformer be?

If used to play music then it won't be continuously operating at full output. So a transformer rated for half the rated power is fine. 100VA for an 8 ohm speaker or 175VA for a 4 ohm speaker.

So a 55V+55V 225VA Tranformer with 2x 4700uF Caps. be enough?
Would it be ok to swap the MJL21194 and MJL21193 with any of these?
