Hello Everyone,

I would like to replicate Steorn's free energy Orbo motor.

Steorn has posted a really neat experiment on Youtube.

Introduction to an Orbo Electromagnetic Interaction - Part 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5nae_I_Mus

The experiment shows that their motor does not experience back EMF. When the system is under load the current/voltage does not change.

There are actually a bunch of folks replicating it and posting videos to Youtube and elsewhere.

I don't think it would be too hard to replicate. All you really need is a toroid, power supply, a rotor, a few neo mags, a reed switch, copper wire, etc.

It doesn't seem to be anything new.

It's just a DC brushless motor except it uses toroidal coils.

I doubt it breaks Lenz's law.

One explanation is the change in current and voltage is very small because it's very inefficient i.e. very little power is being converted to mechanical energy, most is converted to heat.

I noticed how he avoids using the using the words "back EMF" when talking about the pulses.

Steorn's main funding source is private investors.

They have posted an additional video that shows an inductance gain and no back EMF.

Steorn's Orbo Electromagnetic Interaction COP is greater than 1. Part 1 of 5

If their claims are legitimate then this technology provides the best of all worlds. You get an inductance gain (electrical gain) and motion of the rotor for "free."

It all sounds like rubbish to me. If someone really figured out a way to make free energy, no doubt they'd keep it a secret and make enough money to take over the work. I wish Steorn the best of luck.

I'm even more interested in replicating after watching Steorn's last two videos.

It seems to me they have indeed produced torque without CEMF.
