Hello I am looking for some help trying to come up with a circuit for a variable voltage regulator that can handle more than 10amps at 0v to 12v .

Any help would be most appreciated.  :)

Hi crodan,

Welcome to our forum.

Here are a few circuits that might work if slightly modified:

http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/power/027/index.html
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/power/009/index.html

I hope at least one of them will be useful.  ;)

Thanks Ante I will probably give one a try.  I did see a schematic somewhere on the net that used a mosfet, tl431 Programmable Shunt Regulator, 3 caps, a variable resistor and some resistors but I cannot find it  >:(, and I was hoping that someone here might know of a link or a schematic.

Sorry crodan, I do not recognize the PSU you describe here.
