about RX-3 IC

frome the datasheet of RX-3 i get the following application circuit

and at the left side there is antenna and related component:

My question is what the purpose of the transistor Q1?

Hi Walid,
Q1 is a super-regenerative "radio receiver". It barely oscillates which makes it fairly sensitive if it is not overloaded by other signals near its frequency. It is used in very cheap walkie talkies and remore controlled toys.
