Adjusting Power on KSS-213C CD Laser Pickup

The plastic screw on the head of this unit apparently adjusts the current to the unit. So, there should be a resistor somewhere that I can measure across and set to this unknown proper current, or at least check what it is? Can someone point the location of this resistor?
