CONTEXT means everything. As per my previous post, the media claim "Gigatons of man-made CO2" but when it's put in context i.e. 0.00126% of the total it becomes less than meaningless and certainly not threatening.

And you CONTEXT is a pile of distortion.
Earth's temperature is very sensitive to greenhouse gases of which C02 is an important one.
So those gigatons of CO2 are an important reason for the rise in average global temperatures in the last century, and that is very threatening.

And yes, as an ex submariner, reactor operator, I can confirm we all were crazy. Furthur no shortage
of folks in port standing watches with severe hangovers. We were safe and sane most of the time,
but not all. We had accidents, manmade, but relatively few. But now lets raise the concentration of
CO2 in the sub to say, 900,000 ppm, your thoughts Mr. Science ?

And sadly species extinction, how much of this can be traced to human activity, ask Africans about

Got admit I skimmed over most of your 'rant' but I'm no denier of science. I want the science to prove to me that mankind's emissions of CO2 are the main cause for global temperature rise.

As of now there is ZERO scientific proof. Not one peer reviewed paper. Show me one. Just ONE.

As for the remainder of 'science' I have already mentioned that Climate Change (man made) is a THEORY. It is called a theory precisely because no one has proof otherwise. A theory is NOT proof. Nor is consensus.

I'm also not denying there is change happening. Change ALWAYS happens - it's what makes this planet what it is and there's nothing we can do to alter that fact - reducing our CO2 emissions will DO NOTHING in exactly the same way as INCREASING them will do nothing.

There is a huge difference between being responsible for the environment and political interference, intimidation and expense of trying to manipulate the environment. There is no such thing as 'environmental protection' - it's environmental interference. Anything anyone does to counter 'something' has another effect elsewhere, the laws of consequence.

The only consequence of CO2 mitigation, litigation etc is expense, inconvenience and loss of rights (or control by those that don't deserve it).

The examples are legion - if you don't recognise that everything 'they' do is aimed at controlling everything YOU do then the problem is YOU, not anyone else.
