This is typical of the climate lunacy that prevails. Whilst the 'deniers' only wish to discuss the science (not the $cience) the proponents call for actions that intend to 'kill off' any further discussion.
If you can't win the argument with facts then kill the opposition eh?
FYI it would be the CO (Carbon MONoxide) that will kill you - dufus. Those that live and work on nuclear submarines spend the vast majority of their time in a CO2 laden atmosphere of up to 4000ppm (10x what we experience on the surface) and there is no issue. Not even any worries considering they are controlling nuclear reactors, nuclear missiles and $100's billions of machinery.
You can't argue with 'stupid' people. They either beat you with experience or drag you down to their level.
By products of candle burning dufus (name calling, to meet comp) :
Illustrate the presence of water and carbon dioxide in the products of hydrocarbon combustion in this demonstration. Includes kit list and safety instructions.

The Science Behind the Flame There’s a lot of chemistry and physics behind the beauty and light of a candle flame. In fact, scientists have been fascinated by candles for […]

The above science.
4000 ppm, wow ! So what constituted the other 996,000 parts, in the million that is ?
Whilst the 'deniers' only wish to discuss the science
Do not recall the deniers of transistors were into discussing science, dont remember one peep
out of them. Or the draggers destroying the ocean bottom with drag nets, not a peep on science.
Or the science benefit that miners create dumping heavy metals into watersheds....not a peep
on science.....deniers in death masks, no shortage of them.....
But lets talk limits. Let earths atmosphere be entirely CO2, how you breathing now ? Let it be zero,
what are the consequences of that ? Now let it be what it is, but change the rate of CO2 production
being dumped into the soup. No consequences you would argue. Rates and concentrations dont
matter I gather. Obviously someone skipped the chemistry class.
And yes, as an ex submariner, reactor operator, I can confirm we all were crazy. Furthur no shortage
of folks in port standing watches with severe hangovers. We were safe and sane most of the time,
but not all. We had accidents, manmade, but relatively few. But now lets raise the concentration of
CO2 in the sub to say, 900,000 ppm, your thoughts Mr. Science ?
And sadly species extinction, how much of this can be traced to human activity, ask Africans about
their elephants. Ask native Americans about Bison.......Ask mainers about their salmon runs long gone
in the early 1900's due to paper mills, now a small resurgence due to removal of deniers influence
in their government. Ask lobstermen in Maine, the older ones, who overfished and used incredibly
bad practices, and put themselves out of business, how that worked out for them. Still a work in process.
Oh ya, the population now getting very well informed about deniers in many areas of activity.
I will take the mistakes made by science practicers any day over those made by the nothin's happening
crowd.
Regards, Dana.
