if I have to amplify a sig of 10mV peak (20mV P-P) using a voltage divider common emitter configuration. Power supply is 9VDC. What values of RB1 & RB2 should be to maintain these two conditions:
1- conserve (not waste) the battery.
2- No distortion in the o/p sig.
Note: please write the expression you use to solve this problem, thanks.

You can design a transistor circuit to use any amount of battery current you want. It all depends on the resistance of its load.
2- No distortion in the o/p sig.
The amount of distortion of a single common emitter transistor depends on its load resistance and its gain.

Since you don't specify a load resistance nor amount of gain required then a solution is impossible. :(
