Booting Raspberry Pi 3 B+ from USB Drive

Last I heard there was something new on the board that prevented USB from being bootable. Has anyone been able to find a work around for this yet? I read about this idea from another forum. How is this done anyway?

The bootcode.bin only booting on the Pi 3B+ is fixed as of this commit:

To get the fix, use rpi-update to get the very latest firmware, then copy the new bootcode.bin to your boot SD card.

Thanks Totalmedtech. Thats what I was looking for. I kind of had an idea on how, but I did not know if there where problems. At least since the B+ model was still relatively new.
