Buck circuit to output of solar panel

Will i get more current out of a solar panel if i connect buck adapter circuit to output of solar panel?
use extra current to charge deep cycle battery.

Yes, but you'll get a lower voltage.

Buck converters connected to solar panels can result in you getting less power from the panel as it attempts to draw more current than the panel can supply.

I think what you want is an MPPT (maximum power point tracking) controller. It constantly adjusts the current drawn in order to extract the maximum power from the solar panel.
