Hi,I have the same problem with my Cadi, the intrusion sensor seems to be the problem. I unpluged it and now the alarm is off.

So how do i solder the low value cap ?

So my ultrasonic intrusion sensor from my cadillac sts is faulty, it sets off the alarm randomly almost everyday. I removed it from the car an opened it, but i cant find anything visibly defective? The darkbrown spots are from me, when I was removing the back shield. Any ides how to test or repair it?
