one is used to remove high frequency
and another one for eliminating low frequency noises
what is the advantage and disadvantage of electrolytic capacitor over ceramic capacitor?
and give the functionality difference between this two

I'm thinking we need a little more information about your power supply type.
This used to be a pretty generic question, with electrolytics being the answer (ceramics are mostly used for higher frequency applications).
Some of he power supplies I'm seeing these days are pretty complex, and can operate at higher frequency.
Do you know the name of your power supply type?
Is this for a particular application? (What is the power supply used for?)
What is the frequency you expect the power supply to operate at?
Just anything helpful that tells us more about what you need to know.

What are the differences between ceramic and electrolytic capacitors? Look at the range of capacitance values available in each type. Ceramic capacitors are available with values down to less than 1 pF, and generally up to the low µF range (although there are special MLCCs that go into the hundreds of µF). What is the range of values for electrolytics?

There are many other differences. You should have been taught this. Go back over your notes, or use Google and Wikipedia to learn more about each type.
