I am a teacher of a Middle School Manufacturing Technology Test. I am trying to find someone who could help me develop a two lane infrared activated Start and infrared activated stop elapse timer using infrared LED's, either a parralell port or usb port on a computer and any programming language such as visual basic or c++ for a co2 car track. I've found schematics for older timers but need help gaining information on how to make one using newer hardware and software technology. If you have time and a good working knowledge of electronics and/or computer engineering, please help. Thank you for your time.
