Complete nub wants to entertain his dog

Hello all

I want to build something simple for my dog

I take him to the park almost every day and we usually see squirrels, he chases them, and he really likes it

However there are some days when we literally see zero squirrels and I think he gets bummed out

I want to make something akin to a jack-in-the-box with a toy squirrel that pops put from something (haven't decided what yet) that can be operated with a remote control because if he sees me manually do it he's going to figure it out

Ideally, when powered on I want it to move forward a little bit out of its hiding place and the opposite when off (hopefully far enough into its hidey-hole that he can't reach it and figure it out)
Is this possible?

What breed is your dog? How old is he? He might just take the Jack-in-the-Box with them,as the squirrel comes out of the box,we can make a bigger squirrel come out after the little squirrel and teach him my lesson? What do you think?
We can paint the little squirrel blue and put little jets for the tail , and have your dog go at it,Rip it to pieces.
