CONNECTING A WATER PUMP WITH NO PLUG

I bought this little water pump from amazon but it's just the red and black wires and no wall plug to connect to. Wondering an easy way to get this thing running. Can I just attach it to a 12 V DC battery?

You can connect it directly to a 12V battery providing the pump is 12V.
You didn't say what pump or voltage.
