Cracked screen on a plasma tv.

Someone moved out of an apartment the other day and left a Samsung plasma 50" tv that has a crack on the screen. It doesnt turn on, it makes a weird noise and then the red power light just flashes. I was wondering though, do these tv's work even though they have a cracked screen?

no not likely and unfortunately, it would most likely be cheaper to buy a new TV than a replacement screen for that one

Unless you can find the same model online for free (or cheap) with blown motherboards, I sold my TV witha cracked screen for $50 because the other guy had the same model with dead boards in it.
