DIP IC extraction/insertion tools

Just wondering what you folks use to straighten and realign bent IC pins.

Also, what do you use to insert IC's into breadboards and sockets?

Plain old pliers, althoughthere are special tools if you have money to spare or need to rework IC pins regularly.

Only my hands, I thinl you have a better feeling for the ICs than using tools.

Remember to take ESD precautions (grounded wriststrap or similar) to avoid ESD damage to the ICs.

That is basically what I have been doing, but I thought there might be a better way.
