DIY Ignition module to replace points & condenser

This is a reverse engineered Atom ignition module for magneto type ignition systems. Manufacturing of these modules ceased some years ago. They are quite simple to build & use on small engines that use points & condencer, The points & condencer are removed or disconnected, & this module fited in there place. The following is the circuit & pics of assembly.

I started this project back in 2011 & took a long time to find a suitable transistor that would work reliably switching the coil. Eventualy found the 2SD1071 fited the bill. But was shuting down after a few minutes running due to switching spikes. This was cured by fitting a Mosorb 15KE200A (1N6303A). It runs fine on my old 2stroke lawn mower,

sir will this module will replace my rd 350 cb points ????

No it wont work on a RD350 as its a battery powered ignition system. The module is for Magneto type ignition.
