That's genius, I never considered bur bits.
I just found a set of dental bits on ebey that start from .9mm. Not much difference in the cutting diameters compared to the set of carbide bits I have either.
Bur bits can also be used to cut pcb as well, which I've done in the past with my hand mill (well the x y axis is hand powered anyway) I just didn't think of the dental angle for small bit sizes. Smallest bur bit I've got in my workshop is 2.5mm.
