I'm having a strange problem with a self-installed (and self monitored
via pager) DSC 632 (PC1555MX).

I've got a LCD5501Z32-433 keypad connected. I have 2 zones only, both
are wireless contacts. I'm using two wireless keyfobs, and have it
set up to page me.

Everything works great - for a while.

After time, I get a general system supervisory trouble. (*2 1 shows
5, general system supervisory). The wireless contacts stop working
ususally at this point also. I get a page indicating the same, (which
i set in section 348, #8).

When hear it start beeping and see a trouble 1 - 5, I've checked my
module enrollment (using section 903) and see 1, 17. (1 keypad, 17
5132 wireless in keypad).

If I do a 902 and wait a bit, then press and hold 'reset', it seems to
function again for a while but eventually this problem repeats.

There's nothing else connected to the pannel (except a siren and EOL
resistors) and it keeps doing this.

I've tried the following:
1 - Testing wireless contact placement, almost always get a 'good'
signal.
2 - Reseting the panel (by shorting pgm1 and z1) etc\
3 - Have reset the 5132 (using section 996)
4 - Want to reset the keypad, but can't find info on how
5 - 902 and a 'reset'. This corrects the problem but it comes back!!

I'd really appreciate some help - I don't know what to do next.

More details:

Go to section 804 and then section 90 turn option 7 on. Very common problem
with DSC wireless recievers. Option is to disable RF jam detect. Manual
shows that option is enabled from factory but I have found only on the
latest ones it is.

It's got a tamper switch on the back, and it's got a metal springy
thing that presses the switch in when the keypad is mounted against
the wall.

It doesn't seem to be this switch causing the problem, it generates a
different trouble when I press/release it.

Thanks,

John
