Me too ! . . . . . . but only for researching its other ends " # " location on the schematic.
As can be seen, it only comes into play, when switched in on the seven different ohms ranges.
S o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o . . if you had your unit on ohms function and then subjected its probes to 120--220v ! ! ! .
Have you additionally checked to see if the SM 2N9014 at the extreme left bottom schema corner, to see if its zener junction functioning of its C&B to E junction has blown up or shorted ?

Hi its just below and to the right . The part PTC1 is a 1.5k ptc thermistor ,( a 1.5k resistor works ), yes on 2k ohms range 350v dc to probes took out r6 900ohms (2x 1.8k in par) took out the ptc1 took out tr1 . no other damage now working and calibration is ok. the 1.5k ptc was from alliexpress pack of 50
