Hi,
I have gone through the DXF 'getting started with PCB design' .pdf with flying colors and decided it was time to create my own cct and PCB...
It was a little more complex but really nothing more in terms of using the application - at least i thought...
Once I have compiled the schematic (no errors) I head to the PCB file and click on Design - 'import changes in MC3.PRGPCB' - I get the same screen as I did in the tutorial but the nets are not listed, they are replaced instead with a list of 'nodes' -
Clicking on 'validate changes' will get a red cross next to all of them and 'Executing changes' gives me nothing in the PCB and the example error:
"ECO Action Failed A4 test pcbDoc|PCB|Add Components|Add|R1|To|A4 test pcb.PcbDoc|R1 to A4 test pcb.PcbDoc" >>ok<<
for all the components listed ...
Any idea what I need to know/change ???
Still learning...
'node' isnt in the Altium index :-\
thanks for any help,
nick
