Electrolux fridge three way

Hi I have an electrolux multi power fridge
12v & mains are fine, but I can't ignite the gas, I can smell gas so supply is OK and the ignition system on the top of the fridge is kicking out a spark, I know this because I pulled off the main red wire and got a belt, so the part that actually lights the gas what is it named please

Gas utility companies offer free pilot lighting for security reasons and courtesy. Try them first. Do not know what a belt has to do here. Tell us the model of the unit.

Usually called the "ignitor".
There is more to it that just the electric ignitor.
Down below at the rear will be the gas lines and the jet, latter probably blocked if you have good gas supply.
Not the kind of thing one should be playing with if in the beginning you have no understanding of the workings of absorption type refrigeration.
Gas can be very dangerous so get an authorised repairer.
