Electronic circuits software

Hello all,
I'm new to this group. I would like to know of free softwares that help in circuit simulations for basic electronics lab(for eg. UJT relaxation, basic amplifiers, inv.: non-inv:diff). Please let me know. I'm basically Linux(Ubuntu)-minded. But windows softwares are also alright.

LTSpice will run on Linux under WINE. There are also many open source alternatives available, try searching the Ubuntu software repository.
