Hi.
my intention is to use my MP3 as the audio source, feeding a small 12V amplifier through the 3.5mm headphone jack. I have salvaged a horn speaker that I will use for the speaker.
I am debating if I can use a small remote control switch for cheap...that is my second question here...
now I would like to get my part form dx express because they ship for free in Canada....
I have a few questions for you experts ...
about this amplifire: http://dx.com/p/y148-audio-amplifier-module-93121
A- would it serve my needs ?
B- can you tell me, since I don't see any instruction online, where would I plug ( solder)
1- my Left, Right, and Ground from my stereo sound source ( MP3 and 3.5 male to male cut at one end )
2- Where to plug (solder) my 12 V , positif and negatif ? would I connect the + where it's written V on the circuit, and the Negatif where it's written Grd ?
3- Where to connect my single speaker please ?
anything I should know that would be a deal breaker for my choice of amplifier ?
also I am looking at a remote switch control to operate my E caller. I thought of this one : https://dx.com/p/mtdz006-rf-1-channel-wireless-remote-controller-switch-module-green-blue-153147
it is my believe that this switch will operate the relay as long as the switch is pressed down, but will open the relay the second the switch is released. is there a way to wire the receiver so the relay stay closed until the switch is pressed again ? in other words, I want: one click = relay closed, next click= relay opens . I don't want one click= relay closed, release click = relay opens... I hope you understand what I am trying to explain. English came late in my life...
I will wire that remote switch to my power supply,( and leave the mp3 on all the time) as I don't think I have the knowledge to attached it to my MP3 device ( it is so small...) what do you think? http://www.sandisk.com/products/music-video-players/clip-plus-mp3-player/
thank you for your help. my electronic knowledge is very limited. I do know how to solder.
