Electronic starter kit

I ordered an Electronic kit, and it comes with components, LED`s, wires ext....,but it also comes with a power supply with connectors a DC-in connector, USB, but no instructions on how to use it. I don`t know what the input voltage should be, Can anyone help?

I suggest you post a set of pictures, especially showing the power supply. Please make sure that all the numbers on the power supply are visible in the photos. A few photos of all the other stuff would be good, too.

Sounds like the kit is to be used with a USB-sourced supply i.e. 5V. If the USB lead has a power plug on the end of it and there is a corresponding socket that plugs into a prototype board then this is the most likely answer.
