farfisa organ

Hi new user here , does any one have any info on a farfisa organ as I have just picked one up for my young son , but there is no output if you press a key you just get a click.
The percussion unit works and gives a beat but no notes
Any help very gratefully received thanks.
There was a thread in nov 2003 about a SN28730N any idea where it went ?
